If you are like me, you will love to eat an apple every day. I also enjoy all of the many other varieties of apples. But, do you know what my favorite reason is? It’s one that not many people will tell me, but it is a very big reason. So, here are nine reasons to eat an apple every day.
First off, an apple has a wonderful texture and taste. It will give you a real “out of the box” taste every day. This happens because an apple is a berry and as such, contains a higher concentration of juice when it is ripe. When an apple is eating, this high concentration of juice continues to juices the apples, giving it a sweet, crisp, and delicious taste. On the other hand, if you eat an apple that has been overripe, you will only get the flavor of the fruit, rather than the actual juice.
Second, an apple has enzymes in it that will improve your health. Enzymes are necessary for your body to perform all of the necessary functions for your digestive system. If you don’t get enough vitamins and nutrients from your food, the enzymes in your food just don’t work as well. When you include an apple in your diet, you will increase the number of enzymes that are working properly in your body. This means that you will be able to feel healthier, have more energy, and be better able to absorb the minerals and vitamins that are in your food.
Third, an apple gives you lots of choices. If you hate the taste of an apple, you can eat an apple that is not green. Or, you can eat an apple that has been left out in the rain, which has a slightly bitter taste to it. In fact, some people will choose an apple that is off-color, rather than eating the flavor that is in the apple. You can even eat an apple that is partially developed if you so desire.
Fourth, an apple can give you a lot of extra vitamin C. Vitamin C is found in most fruits, but the best way to get your daily dose is to eat an apple. Apples naturally contain a lot of vitamin C. That is why they are considered to be “superfoods.” Some other foods with a high concentration of vitamin C are oranges and lemons. You can also get vitamin C from most seafood. However, an apple is the best way to ingest this important vitamin. You might eat more servings of fruit per day than any other food type.
Fifth, an apple gives you lots of fiber! Fiber is not only good for your digestive system, but it is also good for your overall digestive health. This is one of the reasons to eat an apple every day. An apple contains a lot of fiber and you will feel full after eating just one.
Sixth, an apple contains antioxidants! The skin of an apple contains natural antioxidants. This helps protects the skin from damage. If you eat an apple, not only will you get lots of antioxidants, but you will also be improving your skin’s health. So if you have a lot of acne, don’t eat an apple!
Seventh, an apple contains significant amounts of potassium, magnesium, and manganese. Potassium and magnesium are two of the most important electrolytes in the body. It is one of the reasons to eat an apple on a regular basis.
