In addition, she divulged that the cover was shot in the Dominican Republic and shared her commitment to attending pilates sessions thrice a week in preparation for the shoot. During an interview with The New York Times, she recounted, “They were all buzzing around me, making comments about ‘the girls.’ I have never referred to my breasts in such a manner. I detest such language… Yet, I needed to ensure that I was ready to strike a pose in a swimsuit. It demanded a touch of vanity and a measure of confidence. I pondered, ‘If I feel sufficiently strong physically and mentally to undertake such a feat, I am more than willing to embrace it.'” She further remarked, “Typically, my motivation stems from financial incentives. However, this time, my motivation was root in the desire to demonstrate that a woman of my age can exude beauty, vitality, and goodness.”
