I walked in the opposite direction in the direction I could in search of the ‘truth. ‘”
“That only ended in addiction, depression, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, et cetera,” the “Lie, Lie, Lie” singer goes on. “No other teacher gave me anywhere near the peace that Jesus Christ did.”
Bassett’s closing remarks get enthusiastic applause from the crowd:
“I’m here to publicly declare him as my lord and savior.”

There is a resurrection of both the saved and the lost and the saved. One to eternal death, and the other to eternal life.”

In the early months of the year at the beginning of the year, the singer raised concerns for his health after he tweeted his conviction that “Jesus Christ is the only way.” In the latter part of January, he reassured fans of being “better than i have ever been” since pledging his allegiance to Jesus and sharing personal stories about his experiences with God in the church.
“His love is amazing and I am a certainty. Praise be to God for ever and forever through Jesus Name,” He wrote in the year 2000. “I have also personally met Jesus twice. The experiences were more vivid and richer like nothing else I’ve experienced in my experience in my life… I look at the possibility of sharing it very soon.”
