The Call of Duty: Warzone 2 second season introduces the new Ashika Island map for battle royale and DMZ. This new map also features a Weapon Case event, and we’ll show you how to get all the rewards in this guide.
Weapon Cases: New and Improved
The Ashika Island DMZ’s Weapon Case event works much like the one on Al Mazrah. One person can claim each game, and it can quickly turn into a chaotic free-for-all. There are seven unique rewards that can be earned here.
How to track down and complete the event
The event is located at the Castle POI, and there’s a yellow folder icon with a question mark that marks the area within the castle. You’ll need to gain access to a locked area and fight through enemies to collect a weapon briefcase. Once you’ve collected it, you’ll need to successfully extract it and earn your rewards.
When you approach the location, an automated turret will open fire on you. I’d recommend having at least one person in your trio carry semtex and the munitions box field upgrade here. An RPG could also be helpful, or if someone has the armor piercing rounds on a custom light machine gun build, those could work too.
Once you’ve removed the turret, interact with it to hack the security system. This gives you access to the locked area of Tsuki Castle. You’ll need to fight through more of Warzone’s AI enemies, but you’ll want to make your way upstairs to fight off some riot shield AI and collect the briefcase. There are tons of proximity mines and claymores set up inside the castle, so be careful where you step and wear armor plates inside if you want to make it out alive.
Here are the Weapon Case event rewards.
There are seven rewards for completing the Weapon Case event, and you’ll need to complete this event seven times to get all of them.
They are earned in the order below:
- Backup Plan: Pistol weapon blueprint
- Aces: Emblem
- Full House: Calling card
- Bear With Me: Weapon sticker
- Triple Threat: Loading screen
- Full House: Emblem
- Fight Night: Assault rifle weapon blueprint
We’re excited to introduce a new set of rewards for Ashika Island! These are available only to players who haven’t collected the Weapon Case event rewards from Season 1.
Ashika Island is a third location for DMZ, alongside Al Mazrah and Building 21. Both of these locations require special access to reach, so we’ve got all the information you’ll need to get your hands on a keycard to open Building 21.
