Nicki Minaj announced on Thursday the forthcoming release of the ‘Princess Diana Remix’ in collaboration with Ice Spice during her appearance on Queen Radio on AMP. The Trinidadian rapper also expressed her affection for Ariana Grande, whom she refers to as her ‘sister’.
On Queen Radio, Minaj stated, “Ari will always be in my heart, she’s like family to me.” The rapper also confirmed that she would be featured on Ice Spice’s ‘Princess Diana’ remix.
“Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have announced the release of the ‘Princess Diana Remix,’ which will be available at midnight,” stated a Twitter user.
Another Twitter user exclaimed, “Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj together is a reality!”
The single is set to be released at midnight.
Isis Naija Gaston, who goes by the professional name Ice Spice, has been one of the rising rappers since last year. She rose to fame with her single ‘Munch (Feelin’ U),’ which went viral, and subsequently released ‘Bikini Bottom.’
Earlier this month, Nicki Minaj hinted at a potential collaboration. The New York rapper tweeted the lyrics to ‘Princess Diana Remix.’
“On point, let’s keep it real. If we’re being honest, these girls aren’t worth it,” Nicki tweeted.
Meanwhile, Doja Cat teased a possible collaboration with SZA on her Instagram account on Thursday.
“Curious about what Doja Cat and SZA are up to now???” one social media user asked.
“DOJA CAT AND SZA ARE WORKING TOGETHER TONIGHT!” another Twitter user exclaimed.
Deadline reported on Thursday that Nicki Minaj will appear in the animated comic book series ‘Lady Danger,’ which is based on the work of Alex de Campi.
