The new movie, titled Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, stars Tom Cruise reprising his role as Ethan Hunt, and Hailey Atwell as Grace. Handcuffed together, they embark on a thrilling escapade, evading both adversaries and the authorities, all while Cruise skillfully drifts a BMW 5 Series through the bustling streets of Rome, relying solely on his right hand for control.
According to the acclaimed stunt coordinator Wade Eastwood, Cruise adeptly handles all the driving maneuvers one-handed, even executing impressive slides and drifts around corners with precision. This feat would typically be easy to simulate, but the BMW Cruise operates is devoid of doors. Making the authenticity of his driving prowess undeniable. At one pivotal moment, Ethan and Grace decide to abandon the BMW. Hoping to make a discreet getaway in another vehicle. A gray Ferrari catches their attention on a tranquil side street.
